Hammerheads at Southern Zone Senior Championship 2022
July of 2022 brought many great things including few of our senior swimmers attending Southern Zone Senior Championship in Morgantown, West Virginia and swimming with outstanding performance!
In conclusion of long course meters season Vadim Burunov and Taylor de Don raced in multiple events through 5 consecutive days and got great results!
Taylor de Don swam 400 FREE – 5:01.20 / 200 FREE – 2:23.27 / 100 FREE – 1.06.17 / and phenomenal 50 FREE – 29.50 which is her new best time and second “AA” standard time.
Vadim Burunov swam 6 events and established 8 new best times, 7 new club records, multiple “A” and “AA” standard times, qualified for 3 final events, among next disciplines: 100 FREE – 56.71 / 50 Back – 28.50, which is 6th place overall among all men / 50 Fly – 27.03, placed 11th overall / 100 Back – 1:02.75 / 100 Fly – 1:01.29 / 200 IM – 2:23.35.
